manchester united got a 2-1 first division victory against Brentford on their return from the international break on Saturday afternoon.
The Mancunian giants were not at their best in the first half of the match, but stepped up their performance after the half-time whistle to record a much-needed victory.
Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund found the score in the second half for Man United after two exceptional assists from Mark Rashford and Bruno Fernandez.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live (h/t BBC sport), football expert Chris Sutton was highly impressed with Rashford, who sent a “wonderful” cross into Garnacho's path.
He was quoted as saying: “End to end. A wonderful ball from Marcus Rashford hit the far post. Alejandro Garnacho receives it with a volley and crashes it against Mark Flekken. He heads towards the top corner. United responding in the right way.”

United looked second best in the first half against Brentford. The Bees looked more likely to score at Old Trafford and managed to break the deadlock in controversial fashion before half-time.
Matthijs de Ligt was asked to leave the pitch on three separate occasions due to blood spilling from his head. The third of these occurred from a corner in which Ethan Pinnock scored for the Bees.
This did not discourage the United players and they gave a good response in the second half. Garnacho stepped up with a man of the match performance for the club.
Rashford looked like a lost figure after starting on the right wing. However, the 26-year-old made his impact on the game, unleashing a sumptuous cross for Garnacho's sensational volley to tie the score.
It was a shocking tactical change by the coach. Erik ten Hagbut it worked in favor of the Dutchman and kept him in the position for longer. A loss yesterday could have forced the board to fire him.
