Chelsea They are chasing their fourth consecutive first division win with Nottingham Forest visiting Stamford Bridge on matchday seven on Sunday 6 October.
After defeating Gent in the Europa Conference League with a secondary starting eleven, Enzo Maresca is likely to make 11 changes to his team for the weekend's English top-flight fixture.
Here's a look at how the Blues will line up:
Goalkeeper – Robert Sánchez will return between the sticks. He was pretty poor last time out against Brighton and will hope to put in a better performance this time as he chases a third league clean sheet in his last four outings.
Defenders – Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana are expected to come in for Tosin Adarabioyo and Benoit Badiashile. The full-backs from Gent's victory will also return to the bench, as Malo Gusto and Marc Cucurella will come on from the right and left, respectively.
Jackson, Sancho and Palmer will start
Midfielders – Enzo Fernández and Moisés Caicedo will return to Chelsea's double pivot. Like the rest of Nottingham Forest's potential XI, the South Americans were also left out of the line-up against Gent in the midweek continental clash.
There will also be departures for Noni Madueke on the right wing and Jadon Sancho on the left. The Englishman is in impressive form since arriving from manchester unitedand little by little he is cementing his place in the team.
Cole Palmer, who bagged a quadruple last time out against Brighton, will play as an attacking midfielder and the 22-year-old will look to continue his superb form.
Forward – Nicolas Jackson will replace Christopher Nkunku as Chelsea's attack leader. The Senegal international did not score against Brighton last week and missed several chances, but will return to the starting XI against Nottingham Forest despite Nkunku's goal against Gent in the Conference League.
