Chelsea take on Leeds United at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup tonight with a place in the quarterfinals at stake.
The Blues come into the game after a narrow 1-0 loss to Liverpool in the EFL Cup final on Sunday afternoon. A header from Virgil van Dijk with just two minutes remaining was enough to give the Reds the victory and condemn Chelsea to defeat.
Mauricio Pochettino needs to get his players back quickly and the Argentine coach has made five changes from Sunday's starting eleven. Goalkeeper Robert Sánchez is called up to start between the sticks and Petrovic abandoned.
Alfie Gilchrist is called upon to start in defense with Ben Chilwell given a rest while Malo Gusto maintains his place on the opposite side of Chelsea's back four. Axel Disasi keeps his place, but Nathan Chalobah is called up to start with Levi Colwill dropping to the bench.
Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández keep their places in the Blues midfield, but Conor Gallagher is given a rest, so Noni Madueke comes into the starting XI tonight.
Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson also start once again for Chelsea, while Mykhailo Mudryk returns to the team at the expense of Cole Palmer, who is given a well-deserved rest.
As for Leeds, Illan Meslier starts again in goal, while Joe Rondon and Junior Firpo start in defense. Ethan Ampadu takes on his old team while Mateo Joseph starts in attack for the visitors.
