Chelsea look set to continue spending money in their bid to return to the Champions League and challenge for major trophies.

The Blues spent around £600 million on new signings in 2023, and have already spent over £50m in this window.

Midfielder Kieran Dewsbury-Hall has followed new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca to Stamford Bridge from Leicester on a £30m deal.

And the West Londoners paid Aston Villa 19 million pounds to bring teen star Omari Kellyman to the club.

This follows the signing of 18-year-old striker Marc Guiu from Barcelona after activating his £5.07m release clause.

In the meantime, they managed to signs central defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer after deciding to run out his contract at rivals Fulham.

And there is likely to be more income in Chelseawho remain interested in strengthening their attack, with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen known to be of interest.

However, they know they may have to cash in on some of the club's academy graduates to help fund their summer deal, with Ian Maatsen already sold to Villa for more than 35 million pounds.

Robert Sánchez and Djordje Petrovic shared goalkeeping duties last season, with the pair making 21 and 31 appearances respectively.
