Crystal Palace appear to mock Nottingham Forest referee's statement after victory
Crystal Palace apparently mocked Nottingham Forest's controversial refereeing statement after their win over West Ham.
After a 2-0 defeat to Everton, Forest astonishingly accused the PGMOL to hire a Luton Town fan to work as VAR for the match and Forest were aggrieved at not having been awarded three penalties.
“Three extremely bad decisions, three sanctions not imposed, that we simply cannot accept,” the statement read.
“We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the match but they did not change it. Our patience has been tested several times. The NFFC will now consider its options.”
The Football Association later confirmed that Forest will be investigated following the statement, which was published on X shortly after full-time.
However, Palace seemed to decide to have fun with his own post on the social media site in a similar style to Forest.
