According to kicker, Crystal Palace have made their first official offer for VfL Wolfsburg centre-back Maxence Lacroix.
It has previously been reported that Crystal Palace are looking to lure Lacroix away from the Bundesliga and reunite the Frenchman with his former head coach, Oliver Glasner.
With the Premier League outfit keen to find a replacement for outgoing Joachim Andersen, it is believed that Lacorix is the club’s ideal target.
Personal terms are not believed to be an issue, with the 24-year-old keen on linking back up with Glasner at Selhurst Park.
However, the two sides are said to be apart in their valuations.
As stated in the report, Palace have made their first official proposal to Wolfsburg, with the fee understood to be in the region of €14 million plus future add-ons.
Nevertheless, this is not deemed enough by the Wolves, who are determined not to sell the defender this summer.
As of yet, it is unknown whether Palace will increase their offer, but with their other target, Bayer Leverkusen’s Odilon Kossounou, valued at €40 million, there is a feeling as though Lacroix is their only affordable option.
