manchester united Coach Rubén Amorim will take charge of his first first division match at Old Trafford when the Red Devils host Everton on matchday 13 of the competition on Sunday, December 1. After achieving his first victory at the head of the team in the european leagueThe Portuguese hope to achieve a better result than the draw at Ipswich Town last weekend.
Here's a look at United's possible XI, and there likely won't be many rotations against the Toffees.
goalkeeper – André Onana appears to have secured indispensable status between the sticks for Man United and the Cameroonian could keep his place in the starting XI against Everton.
Defenders – A three-man backline could see Noussair Mazraoui feature on the right side. The former Bayern Munich star could have a little license to advance further when the team plays in position. Matthijs de Ligt could play in the middle, while the position on the left of Manchester United's defense could belong to Lisandro Martínez.
The trio are very good on the ball and with Amorim interested in building from the back, their attributes will be an advantage against Everton.
Characteristic of Dalot, Diallo and Rashford
Midfielders – The central midfielders are unlikely to change after the Europa League match, so Manuel Ugarte and Bruno Fernandes could play alongside each other again.
Amad Diallo is a promising option at right back as he contributes well defensively and can play further up the pitch when in possession, so he could play that role. In the left-back position, Amorim could move forward with a more defensive option, thus allowing the presence of Diogo Dalot. The Portuguese's versatility has been crucial for Man Utd this season and his performances are likely to be rewarded with more minutes.
Forwards – Mark Rashford could return to the right wing after being benched in the midweek game. Antony showed flashes of his quality on Thursday but could have more work to do before starting in the Premier League.
The left wing could see Alejandro Garnacho keep his place. The Argentina international is much more effective there than on the right and with a good run of form under his belt, there is every reason for him to feature.
Rasmus Hojlund He will be the favorite to lead the Man Utd line after scoring a brace in the Europa League against Bodo/Glimt.
