Tuesday is D-Day for Barcelona in their attempt to ensure that Dani Olmo and Pau Victor can play for them during the second half of the season. Both players will see their subscriptions expire at midnight on January 1, so if they are not renewed before then, Hansi Flick will not be able to call.

Barcelona are working desperately to find a solution, after seeing their bid to secure a precautionary measure fail on Monday. Olmo trained alongside his teammates on Tuesday morning, but his entourage is said to be very nervous about the current situation, as reported by AS Diary.

If Barcelona failure to register Olmo, he could be allowed to leave the club for free, according to a clause in his contract. This has alerted many clubs, although the Catalans are still confident that they will have the Spanish midfielder at their disposal for the second half of the campaign.
