Dani Olmo talks about the future – “There are different options, I don't know if I will continue in Germany”

Spain and RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo has made it abundantly clear that he is considering a move this summer, and even hinted that it might not be in Germany – Bayern Munich have been one of the sides closely linked with Olmo.

The 26-year-old has a release clause in his contract worth €60m, but that expires on July 20, and there has been no suggestion that either side will move to activate it this week, despite its obvious qualities. Speaking to Brand in his football school campus, Olmo revealed that he had already made his intentions clear to his agents.

“We'll see, yesterday we had the party all day and now I'm on campus. People dealing with this already know what I want to do. I don't know if I will continue in Germany, we will see. I want to be in a place where I am valued and loved and what I want to do is win. There are many options, we will see what happens.”

He was also asked if he thought Hansi Flick was building a winning project in Barcelona, ​​but Olmo said he had been focused on the Euros and had little idea. Meanwhile, he also had words of praise for Lamine Yamal, before saying Nico Williams would suit any club he wanted to join.

Olmo has been heavily linked with a move and with his performances at Euro 2024, that interest will only grow. Bayern Munich are one of several teams that have been linked with him, but Olmo's comments suggest he may be more interested in moving away from the Bundesliga. Equally, Barcelona are apparently considering him as an alternative to Williams, while Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League are also credited with interest. This week BILD also reported that Atletico Madrid is for Olmo, but this has not been corroborated so far.
