According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Dani Olmo.
It had previously been reported that Barcelona’s technical director, Deco, had been in Leipzig in order to finalise a deal with Die Roten Bullen for the signing of Olmo.
Now, it is understood that there is a total agreement between the two teams and a deal has been reached.
The Spanish giants have offered Leipzig a guaranteed €55 million package, with a potential €7 million in add-ons.
Nevertheless, as stated in the report, the add-ons proposed by Barcelona and accepted by Leipzig will be difficult to reach and are, therefore, not guaranteed.
Regardless, the deal has been completed, and Olmo will sign a six-year deal with the Blaugrana, seeing him remain at the club until 2030.
It is expected that the 26-year-old will travel to Spain later tonight in order to sign his contract.
