Darwin Núñez meets with Barcelona player amid reports linking Liverpool forward with move to Camp Nou
Darwin Nunez has done little to downplay links with a move to Barcelona after being pictured with Ronald Araujo.
He Liverpool star removed all Reds-related images from his Instagram page after being linked with a move to the Catalan giants.
Speculation about a possible summer move will not have been helped by the fact that Núñez shared an image on his Instagram story with Barcelona Araujo Defense.
But everything may not be as it seems.
Núñez and Araujo are friends and international teammates and regularly line up together for Uruguay.
While the duo are not currently on international duty and both stars play for their respective clubs, their friendship means it is not unusual for them to be seen together.

As far as a possible move to Barcelona is concerned, it would certainly be difficult to achieve.
Liverpool brought Núñez to Anfield almost two years ago for a fee of £85million and he has established himself as a key player in Jurgen Klopp.
In that time, the 24-year-old has scored 33 goals for the Reds, including a total of 18 goals and 13 assists this season.
Given his position in the Liverpool squad, it is unlikely that incoming manager Arne Slot will want to lose the striker on the cheap, something that could be a problem for cash-strapped Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are currently well over LaLiga's spending limit, meaning any move would depend on a large sale of an existing star.
