Leeds United take on Hull City in the Championship on Monday night (April 1) at Elland Road.

The whites come into this match after a draw (2-2) against Watford. Daniel Farke's team remains the only team in the first division who are unbeaten at Elland Road this season, but will be looking for no less than three points tonight.

In the previous match, Farke lamented that his team did not have enough time to train properly due to the international break. In addition to that, they will be without Willy Gnonto and Connor Roberts for this match, both currently injured.

However, confidence in the team is through the roof. It only took Mateo Joseph 25 seconds to score for Leeds after coming off the bench in the last game, and they should feel confident heading into their home game against Hull City.

sky sports expert, David Prutton predicts the Whites will bounce back and claim a 2-0 win tonight.

Prutton said: “Leeds were a bit run down on Friday night and were up against a determined Watford team, so coming away from that team with a point probably represents a decent result at this stage.

“Hull suffered a worrying defeat at home to Stoke, with the team they have they should try a lot harder for the play-offs. At best, they can cause problems for Leeds, but I think Daniel Farke's team will bounce back. 2-0.”

The whites have accumulated 12 wins and two draws in the last 14 matches of the Championship and aspire to automatic promotion.

At the start of the year, Leeds were 17 points behind Leicester City and have now closed the gap, although the Foxes have a game in hand. It will be an exciting last few games in the Championship and it is difficult to predict who the top two will be.

Farke was forced to break up the Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon partnership at the back last week due to Ilia Gruev's injury, and it was no surprise that the Whites were shaky in defence. Gruev is likely to return to the team, but even if he remains absent, Leeds should have enough quality to claim a win here.
