In footage published by the Daily Mail, Raya is seen refusing to grant interviews to journalists in the mixed zone at the Etihad while limping and sporting a bandage on his right leg.
With Aaron Ramsdale having been sold to Southampton in the summer, any absence of Raya would leave Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta facing a selection headache in goal.
Arsenal responded well to a 1-0 deficit thanks to Erling Haaland's ninth-minute strike, as goals from Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel put them 2-1 up at half-time.
However, in the dying moments of the first half, the team was reduced to ten men when Leandro Trossard was sent off for a second yellow card, after kicking the ball out of play following a foul awarded to City.
The Gunners were camped in their own half for the entire second half and almost held on for all three points, but Stones had the final say in the eighth minute of added time.
Asked about Trossard's dismissal, Arteta said: “It's not my job to come here and judge what happened. My job is to survive in the toughest environment you can be thrown into in football for 55 minutes and try to do things to survive. That was my job.
“The rest is outside my job and this is the second time this has happened in five games, which is really worrying if you want to see the best Premier League.”
Arteta continued: “It's incredible, I'm so proud of them. When you've survived for so many minutes, to concede a goal in the last minute like we did, because we had to play 97 and then we got to 99, is a big disappointment.”
“But at the same time, I couldn't be more proud of them and the way they competed today.”
