Deal in principle agreed between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe – the green light has also come, says the report
As the future of Kylian Mbappé continues to occupy the headlines in Spain, it seems that a resolution of his future is approaching. After it was reported that Mbappe had decided to join Real Madrid, the details of his demands were leaked, and now Caught offside they say a deal in principle has been agreed.
Earlier in the week, it was reported that Mbappe was demanding €50m gross per year, a €125m signing bonus and a percentage of his image rights to sign for Los Blancos. Wednesday evening, Chain SER said that Los Blancos were willing to pay what they did for Jude Bellingham (€105m plus 30m in variables), consisting of €100m plus variables again for Mbappe. They have not confirmed that Los Blancos will agree to their wage demands, but they will give up some of their image rights to Mbappe, and the signing bonus is close enough that it seems likely a deal could be hammered out.
Now Rudy Galetti argues that a deal in principle for the French. Mbappe had agreed a deal with PSG CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi to inform him before his decision, but the French giants are still trying to convince him to stay today.
