Aston Villa can confirm that Leander Dendoncker has joined Anderlecht on loan.
The Belgian international returns to his homeland to join the club where he started his career, winning a league title and two super cups before getting his first taste of English football with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He moved to Villa from Molineux in September 2022 and spent the latter part of last season on loan at Napoli in Serie A.
