Barcelona and Real Madrid will each be in the United States later this summer as part of their respective pre-season programs. The two tend to meet for a “friendly” match during their time in the United States, and 2024 is no different.

It was announced a few months ago that another pre-season Clasico, which will be Hansi Flick's first taste of the equipment as Barcelona manager, would take place, with the one at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The exact date and time for the occasion has been confirmed, as per AS Diary – is scheduled for August 4th at 1am CET (7pm local time on the 3rd).
The game could be a good barometer to see how the two teams stack up against each other heading into the new season, but then again, maybe not considering that Barcelona won last summer's match by an emphatic 3-0 scoreline – the only time they have beaten Real Madrid throughout the 2023-24 campaign, as Los Blancos won every other meeting, as well as winning as well as collecting the La Liga and Champions League titles.
