Two Aston Villa Under-21 players have been nominated for Premier League 2 Player of the Month for February.
The Young Lions were in good form across the month, winning two and drawing one of their three league matches.
And midfielders Todd Alcock and Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba have been shortlisted for the award.
Alcock registered two assists from his deeper-lying central midfield role while Jimoh-Aloba scored twice and registered three assists from his more advanced position.
The duo are up against Leo Castledine (Chelsea), Brodi Hughes (Chelsea), Ronnie Stutter (Chelsea), Leon Chiwome (Wolves), Jayden Danns (Liverpool) and Zak Gilsenan (Blackburn Rovers) for the award.
The nominees have been selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel. The panel will also decide the winner, who will be announced next week.
