Last summer, Celta Vigo agreed to the departure of Jorgen Strand Larsen to Wolves – it was an initial loan with a purchase clause included. The Norwegian had been in good form during his time in Galicia, although it has now been confirmed that he will not be returning.

Ace for EDthe purchase clause in Strand Larsen's deal, which had conditions attached, was activated by Wolves, who will now pay 27 million euros to Celta as part of the deal from last summer.

In total, Celta will receive €30 million as part of the deal for Strand Larsen, as Wolves paid an initial €3 million for the loan.

In retrospect, it was a very good deal for Celticalthough they have recently missed Strand Larsen at times this season due to his inability to regularly score goals. However, the money received could go towards a new number nine, especially if Tasos Douvikas leaves the club as planned.
