Eberechi Eze gives advice to the 'incredible' Michael Olise for a successful union with Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala at Bayern Munich
Eberechi Eze is convinced his Crystal Palace team-mate Michael Olise has the talent and mentality to play at the highest level.
Olise is about to complete a £60m move to Bayern Munich after another stellar season at Selhurst Park.
The move would see him join the England captain. Harry Kane and Germany international Jamal Musiala in a new attack led by newly appointed coach Vincent Kompany.
Chelsea It looked like they were going to bring the France under-21 international to west London, but the Bundesliga giants agreed to the terms of Olise's release clause.
He signed a new £100,000-a-week contract at Palace last August after initially turning down Chelsea and the Blues look set to lose their man again.
talkSPORT understands the 22-year-old's move to Bayern is a done deal and an announcement imminent.
Eze, who is with England at Euro 2024, shone alongside Olise last season, helping the Eagles win six of their last seven league games, including victories over Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle.
“He's an incredible player,” Eze exclusively told talkSPORT.
“I've enjoyed playing with him for two or three seasons. He's a top player, a great talent and an excellent mentality.
“He has everything it takes to reach the top and play at the highest level of football.
“Whether he goes there or not (Bayern), he is an incredible player and has what it takes.”
Olise's raw talent is paying off after a sustained run of form in the Palace squad.
Last season, he scored ten goals in 19 Premier League games, the best goal tally of his career.
While Palace do not want to lose Olise, it is not surprising that a European giant has contacted them to sign one of their promising young players.
His creativity will be a major liability for the Eagles if he makes the move to Bavaria, after recording six assists last season.
But that will be music to the ears of Kane, who burst onto German football scene in style last season, scoring a staggering 36 goals in 32 Bundesliga games for arguably the weakest Bayern team in a decade.
Kompany aims to change that narrative next season and reclaim the Bundesliga crown from Bayer Leverkusen.
