'Embrace your role': Evan Ferguson sent message from Fabian Hurzeler as Brighton boss clarifies forward's future
Fabian Hurzeler has dismissed speculation over Evan Ferguson's departure from Brighton but demanded he “accept his role” in the team.

Although Ferguson has only played 258 minutes of football so far this season, Hurzeler insists he must be prepared for any potential opportunity.
“That's the same thing I demand of all players, accept your role and not complain,” he added.
“You can be disappointed if you don't play, I was the same as a player, it's normal and it should be like that.
“But accept your role and make sure you're in the right frame of mind and shape so that when you get the chance, you're ready.
“The best example is Igor (Julio). Nobody expected Igor to play so many games in this phase, but he always made sure he was prepared for the games and for the opportunities.
“He always trained hard, never complained, accepted his role and when he had the opportunity he was there. It's exactly what I demand of Evan and also what I told him.
“I never told him anything about a loan or anything like that. We're happy Evan is here and I'm sure he'll be able to help us next week.”
Danny Welbeck, Joao Pedro and Georginio Rutter have been Hurzeler's preferred options to play in attack.
Ferguson, who has made 74 appearances for Brighton in total, has only played in seven of their Premier League games this season.
He was absent from the first three games while recovering from an ankle injury and has only scored one goal since.
The Irishman hopes to feature for the club in their south coast clash against Southampton.
