England and Ben White told to 'draw line' in dispute for Arsenal star to return to Three Lions squad
Ben White is too good a defender not to play for England and both sides have been told to sort out their differences.
This is the view of the Three Lions icon Sol Campbellwho has declared that the Arsenal star is one of the best right-backs in world football.
White has not played for England since leaving the camp during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
In the last two years, he has not been available for selection, with the interim coach Lee Carsley insisting that it remains that way.
As a result, Carsley recently stated that White It was not in his thoughts for the October international break, where England will face Greece and Finland in the Nations League.
But Campbell is desperate to see White secure a recall, although he has stressed that it could prove problematic having been out of the picture for so long.
Campbell spoke to talkSPORT correspondent Ben Jacobs at the Thinking Football Summit in Porto, where he sent a plea to White, England and the AF.
He said: “When I look at Ben White, how do you integrate him back into the team?
“He is one of the best right-backs in that position right now, he is young and playing very well. How can we get him back?
“How do you bridge the gap with the fans? How do you fix that?
“It's like, 'What are you doing?' He's one of the best players at that position. Yes, they may already be winning, but White is playing top-level football.
“Deep down he is a man who wants to play for England, but obviously something happened before.

“But, as with many things, if things are allowed to drag on from the previous administration to the new one, that's not the best way to go about it.
“Draw a line under that, be a man and move on to the next one, because he is a top player and you want the best players to play for England.”
White has established himself as one of the Premier League's best full-backs since swapping Brighton for Arsenal in 2021.
Having played the 2021/22 season as a centre-back, Mikel Arteta He moved him to the right side of the defence to accommodate the introduction of William Saliba into the byline.
And it is a position he has thrived in, making the right-back position his own, where he has forged a brilliant relationship with the winger. Bukayo Saka.
White will be in action for Arsenal on Sunday in the north London derby, where he will look to keep Tottenham captain Son Heung-min quiet.
