England football legend is in talks with Netflix to film a tell-all documentary on his life – after success of David Beckham’s fly-on-the-wall series
Former Chelsea and England captain John Terry is reportedly in talks with Netflix to film a tell-all documentary on his life.
The documentary will see him follow in the footsteps of footballing legends David Beckham, 49, and Wayne Rooney, 38, who previously lifted the lid on their lives in their hit TV series.
The Ex Chelsea captain, 43, has made more than 500 appearances for the team and is their most successful skipper, leading them to five Premier League titles and the same number of FA Cup wins.
And now, insiders have told The Sun that John is at the centre of a bidding war and claimed TV streaming services are interested in making a deal.
Raw TV, which created Don’t F*** With Cats and The Tinder Swindler on Netflix is reportedly leading the charge according to The Sun.

Insiders also claimed the documentary will feature John’s highs and lows away from the football pitch.
A source told The Sun: ‘John is one of football’s most recognisable and popular figures.’
‘He has had multiple offers to make a series like Beckham and Rooney and is mulling them over.’
‘It’s a big decision to lay your life open to the public.’
They also touched on how his wife Toni Terry has a similar funny personality to Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham, 50.
The source concluded that John’s tell-all documentary would most certainly ‘be a hit’ thanks to his popularity at Chelsea and Aston Villa.
The dad-of-two is currently working within the coaching team at the Chelsea academy.
After he retired from football in 2018 following a season at Aston Villa, he remained at the West Midlands club as assistant head coach.

The news of his tell-all documentary comes after David, 49, revealed what inspired him to film his documentary, BECKHAM, as he dubbed it a ‘love letter’ to football and his family.
The former Manchester United midfielder said there was only really one reason why he wanted to give the world an insight into his current home life.
Football legend David is married to former Spice Girl Victoria and they share four children – Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12.
The four-part series saw the Beckhams’ give an intimate insight into their marriage and early romance, their family life, as well as charting David’s footballing career.
Speaking on Good Morning America, he said he wanted to combine all those aspects, package it together and gift it to his sport and family as a ‘love letter’.
He told show hosts Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, Lara Spencer and George Stephanopoulos: ‘The only reason I did it was because it was kind of a love letter to my career and the sport and also, more importantly, my family.

‘My family have been such an incredible support system throughout my whole life and my whole career.
‘To have all that archive and all that footage in one place, literally, I could go, ”there you go” and that really was the only reason to do it.’
‘I think we were all nervous going into it because we are… even though we have been pictured all over the world, and people know, most places, who we are, to let people into our home… But I also said that if I am going to do this, I am going to do it right and I am only going to do it once so everyone got on board,’ he added.
BECKHAM premiered in October 2023, and while chatting on GMA, David revealed that it wasn’t until then that his youngest son, Cruz, realised just how good his father was at football.
Speaking live in Times Square on the show, he said: ‘But one funny thing was, we watched the premiere and as we are driving back to the house, my youngest son Cruz turns round to me and says ”Dad you were really good, I didn’t know.”’
David also revealed that he when he first retired from football, he was not ready to do a documentary but after ten years had passed he thought it was the right time.
His documentary amassed a record-breaking 3.8million viewers during its premiere week.
