Late drama broke out in the 1-1 draw between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge when James Ward-Prowse received a second yellow card for grabbing the ball to prevent Nicolas Jackson from running onto a blank ball. Things escalated minutes later when Neco Williams clipped the heels of Marc Cucurella as they chased a loose ball and sent it flying towards Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca in the technical area. The incident caused about 15 players to shove each other and exchange words. Chelsea, who received more than six warnings during the match, filed a complaint for not controlling their players. In his post-match press conference, Maresca said: “I like the team the way they are fighting.”
