Manchester United manager Erik the Hag They wanted to bring Sofyan Amrabat back to the club, but the new management decided to reject the Dutchman's wish, according to HablarSPORT.

Now, HablarSPORT claims Ten Hag was keen on bringing the midfielder back to Old Trafford but new sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox ultimately blocked the move.
Amrabat has joined Fenerbahce on loan this summer and the Turkish side, who are currently managed by former United manager Jose Mourinho, will face the Old Trafford side later this season in the Europa League so that the 28-year-old can face his former club.
United decided to strengthen their midfield with the signing of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain and it remains to be seen how the Uruguayan performs in the Premier League as he struggled to show his best for Les Parisiens last season.
Amrabat, valued at around £18.5m by Transfer marketHe was not convincing enough last season to justify United signing him permanently. Therefore, it is the right decision for the Red Devils to decide not to secure his signature and instead opt for another option.

Manchester United have been busy in the recently concluded summer window as they look to strengthen their squad to provide Ten Hag with enough resources to succeed this season after struggling last campaign.
Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro have joined the club to strengthen the back line, while Joshua Zirkzee has signed from Bologna to reinforce the forward line. However, unfortunately, Yoro has suffered a serious injury which has kept him out for several months.
Despite a successful summer window, Man Utd have had a terrible start to the season, winning just one of their first three games and losing two.
So the pressure is already on Ten Hag. CEO Omar Barrada and Ashworth have both publicly stated that they fully support the Dutch boss at this point.
But if the situation does not improve after the international break, United could be forced to take action. It will therefore be interesting to see whether the former Ajax manager can finally turn things around in the coming weeks.
