Erling Haaland forgot to keep his post-match interview as PG after Manchester City's 2-0 win over Leicester.
A bad habit that has been ingrained in him since his time in the Bundesliga where saying bad words in interviews is not so frowned upon, but Haaland rediscovered his good scoring habits with the decisive goal of the victory at the King Power Stadium.
The scoring opened in the 21st minute when Savinho fired on goal after Jakub Stolarcyzk saved Phil Foden's shot into the Brazilian's path.
The Foxes continued to give the away team problems but were not clinical when needed with Jamie Vardy altering his lines in front of goal in the second half.
Haaland then made Leicester pay in the 74th minute by heading in Savinho's cross from the left.
The Norwegian now has his 14th goal in the Premier League this season, two behind the Golden Boot leader Mohamed Salah.
But Haaland was guilty of saying too many bad words in his post-match interview with Sky Sports.
“I think it's important to look forward, because things happen,” the striker said when asked about Manchester City's recent problems.
“Things happen and we have to move on, we have to stay positive and focus on the right things.”
And he continued: “It is always a relief to score. It was an important goal to go 2-0 up. Leicester played a really good game and played very well under the new manager, so we knew it was going to be difficult.
“Every game is difficult. “It's been a difficult time and now it's the new year, so I won't think much about football because it's actually five or six days until the next game.”
Luckily, Haaland managed to keep his interview PG in a post-match interview with talkSPORT's Sam Matterface.
“It was an important goal to relieve the pressure, they put a lot of pressure on us. So yeah, overall happy with the game,” Haaland said.
Asked how he has stayed positive amid a recent poor run of results, Haaland said: “It's easy and difficult to say this, but it's our job.
“We live with this job, but it's also important… You go to work and you go home, you relax, it's something important and it's the hardest thing because you worry a lot about it and all you want to do is win.” .
“But it's important to rest your mind and keep a positive attitude and look around you, look at the people around you, your family and everyone and still enjoy Christmas even if we lose a game.
“I know it's difficult but it's important to do it and move forward. That's what we did today, we won and everything and we were super happy.”
Haaland has come under heavy criticism after scoring just once in seven league games before kick-off at Leicester.
With this result, City ends its streak of six games without winning in what was Pep Guardiola's 500th game as the club's coach.
Guardiola's men are now in fifth position, eleven points away Liverpool in first.
It may be too late for Manchester City to claim their fifth consecutive title, but the fight for the Champions League next season continues.
They also have a chance of claiming domestic silverware in the FA Cup when they face Salford City in the third round on January 11.
