Erling Haaland has refused to rule out leaving Manchester City despite professing his happiness at the club.
Haaland has often been related to departures from City The rumors started almost as soon as he joined in the summer of 2022.
The Norway international has been an instant hit at the Etihad Stadium, where his 52 goals in all competitions last season led them to a historic treble.
But it remains a question whether the 23-year-old will stay at City for the foreseeable future.
And talk of an exit was something Haaland wanted to quell, but he didn't completely extinguish the rumors.
When asked if he was thinking about extending his contract, which expires in 2027, the former Borussia Dortmund Star said: “I'm very happy, especially with the people around me.

“The manager, the directors, the board of directors, they are an incredible group of people and I have to say that I am very happy.
“If I say this now it will probably be a massive headline: tomorrow you never know what the future will bring. But I'm happy. You can write this but you also have to write everything I said before! I'm happy.”
Haaland added: “Now my focus is mainly on the pitch, there are a lot of games.
“Two days ago it was the Manchester derby, now the Champions League. Sunday is Liverpool.
“I think I should focus on that. I don't think I should focus on anything else right now.
“You can think about it in two ways (winning the treble).
“One thing, I came here and won everything, and the other, I'm 23 years old and I won everything and I tried it, what it's like to win it all.
“My way of working is that when I feel like this, I want to win it again. It's that easy.”
Haaland has been a goal fanatic at City since his arrival, having scored 80 in 84 appearances for the club.
That included surpassing the most goals scored in a single campaign in the Premier League last season.
And while he may not break his own record this year, with 28 goals already this season, he shows no signs of slowing down.
