Everton eyes Championship star who scored 'goal of the century' as fourth summer signing

Everton are one of several Premier League clubs interested in signing Hull winger Jaden Philogene, talkSPORT understands.

It is believed that the tigers would be willing to part ways with the 22-year-old if he received a fee of around £15million.

Philogene made headlines in February after his stunning goal at Rotherham in a 2-1 win.

Nicknamed the 'goal of the century' For the fans, the former Aston Villa striker cursed his marker before his rabona effort nestled into the far top corner.

It was one of 12 goals the youngster scored in the Championship last season in 32 league games.

He also contributed six assists as Hull finished just outside the play-off places.

Philogene only linked up with the Yorkshire outfit last summer in a £5m move from Villa, for whom he made six first-team appearances.

If he decides to move to Merseyside, he could become Everton's fourth signing in what has been a hectic summer. Goodison Park.

The Toffees also appear set to reveal the acquisition of striker Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille in a permanent transfer.

talkSPORT understands the Ligue 1 side hope to recoup most of the £20m they paid Sheffield United in 2023.
