The Merseyside derby, which was due to start at Goodison Park at 12.30pm on Saturday, has been postponed due to the impact of Storm Darragh.

Everton's statement added: “We apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank the fans for their understanding. Information regarding a rescheduled date for the meeting will be announced in due course. “All tickets purchased for the original match will remain valid for the rescheduled match.”
Liverpool also stated that there was no alternative but to postpone the 245th edition of the derby, and what was due to be the last league derby played at Goodison Park. “We know this will be deeply disappointing for fans, but the safety of fans, staff and players is of paramount importance,” the club said.
The League One clash between Bristol Rovers and Bolton has also been cancelled, with many more postponements possible.
