Erling Haaland is the majority choice for the Premier League Golden Boot.
But for £15m he probably shouldn't be your top choice. Premier League Fantasy Team (FPL).
Last season, after a couple of injuries, he only managed 217 points.
That left him 11 points behind. Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins as the highest scoring striker in FPL.
Now, at a cost of an extra £1m, it might be time to consider some new options in their squad with the possibility of not picking Haaland at all.
But, if you decide to bet on the Norwegian returning to his attacking best, he will need some budget strikers to balance out his 15-man squad.
Fortunately, this season there are some decent players in an excellent price range to help you in your quest for glory.
And here, talkSPORT.com has four top tips for landing a star striker on a budget.
Joao Pedro (£5.5m)
- Current club: Brighton
- Last season's FPL points: 104
- Opening matches: Everton (V), Manchester United (L), Arsenal (V)
Brighton are something of an unknown quantity under new manager Fabian Hurzeler, but Pedro is receiving rave reviews.
James Milner told talkSPORT he is excited at the prospect of seeing the Brazilian in action in front of him.
He is improving season by season and if he stays injury free he could be a real bargain, especially as he also takes penalties.
Rodrigo Muniz (£6.0m)
- Current club: Fulham
- Last season's FPL points: 97
- Opening matches: Manchester United (away), Leicester (home), Ipswich (away)
Another Brazilian striker, Muniz, was in form at the end of last season.
His run of eight goals in eight games from February left Premier League rivals stunned.
If he can be a consistent threat this season, his numbers could skyrocket.
Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.0m)
- Current club: Crystal Palace
- Last season's FPL points: 165
- Opening matches: Brentford (away), West Ham (home), Chelsea (away)
Mateta was absolutely exceptional after Glasner's arrival last season.
He scored 14 Premier League goals from February onwards in an impressive scoring run.
That earned him a place in the Olympics with France, where he scored five in five games and won a silver medal. Not a bad start to the season.
Dominic Solanke (£7.5m)
- Current club: Tottenham
- Last season's FPL points: 175
- Opening matches: Leicester (away), Everton (home), Newcastle (away)
The England international finally fulfilled his potential. Chelsea and Liverpool invested during his youth.
Last season he managed to score 19 league goals for Bournemouth, who became an attack-minded team under manager Andoni Iraola.
With Tottenham attacking in a similar fashion and world-class stars creating chances for him, he now has the chance to achieve even more.
