Rob Holding has removed any trace of Crystal Palace from his social media profiles after being kicked out of their first team.
Several players were excluded from their respective teams this summer, including Raheem Sterling at Chelsea before his signing for Arsenal.
But while the focus was on ChelseaThe 'bomb squad', Holding's situation went unnoticed.
Fans have now discovered that she has unfollowed Palace on Instagram.
The 28-year-old also deleted all Eagles content from his social media and there was no evidence he ever played for them on his profile.
Holding signed for the Eagles from Arsenal in 2023 on a three-year contract worth £4m.
He has made only one appearance in that time, beginning in Manchester United in the League Cup in a 3-0 defeat in September 2023.
Otherwise, the former Bolton defender has been on the bench or has not been called up for the match.
He was an unused substitute in Palace's 2-0 defeat to West Ham in the Premier League last month but has otherwise been left out of the squad.
Eagles manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed the former Arsenal defender, who has struggled with injuries since arriving at Selhurst Park, is training alone.
Glasner said: “Rob (Holding) is training individually at the moment.
“We'll talk together. He knows the reason, but it's something that remains between Rob and me.
“Nothing public.”
Holding has plummeted down the Palace pecking order following the arrivals of Chadi Riad, Maxence Lacroix and Chelsea outcast Trevoh Chalobah.
After joining Arsenal from Bolton for £2m in 2016, Holding went on to make 162 appearances for the Gunners.
He won two FA Cups with them in that time, first in 2017 and then again in 2020.
His contract with Palace expires in 2026.
