Kai Havertz has not improved since joining Arsenal, according to Jody Morris.

“I think there are still doubts about what his best position is.
“To be fair to Kai, and he's a great lad, I think when he and Timo (Werner) came to the club, as I said before, it was in the middle of COVID. “It's difficult to integrate these players.
“They've just arrived in a new country. Young lads. I think he's grown a little bit since he was at Arsenal, I must say. And it has to be said that Arteta has done a very good job with him. .
“There are still questions: do Arsenal need a number nine? So I'm not sure they aren't questioning him himself.
“But he's a player who I think can score goals on his day, but he's also a player who can run out without producing as many scoring opportunities.”
Havertz scored five goals and provided five assists in 33 appearances over two spells under Lampard.
He later scored the winning goal in the Champions League final following the former Chelsea midfielder's departure in January 2021.
The 25-year-old was still at the club when Lampard returned as interim manager for the final 11 games of the 2022/23 season.
