Aston Villa showed four changes for the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16 tie against Ajax.
Diego Carlos, Álex Moreno, Morgan Rogers and Moussa Diaby all started the encounter at Villa Park, coming after Sunday’s Premier League defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Lucas Digne, Clément Lenglet and Youri Tielemans were named among the substitutes, with Ezri Konsa suspended for the encounter along with Nicolò Zaniolo.
It also represented five changes from the starting XI who drew 0-0 in last week’s first leg at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam.
