Gareth Southgate appears to have listened to Jurgen Klopp with Liverpool star Joe Gomez set for England retirement
Joe Gomez looks set to earn his first England call-up in four years after starring for Liverpool this season.

“If you play football at this level, there is a (big) difference between centre-back, full-back, right, left and number 6, and he is capable of that transition in his mind.
“He is one of those stories. What a wonderful player he is and I am very happy that he can show it again.
“In the center of the field, the game comes from all angles. Everything changes and he has handled it so well, it's crazy. Really good and super important.”
It is not only Gómez who seems willing to return to England after several years.
Sky have also alleged that Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland He will be remembered for impressing in Scotland following his departure from Crystal Palace.
The last of the 31-year-old's nine England appearances was in 2018.
