England manager Gareth Southgate once again sought to reduce the pressure Jude Bellingham at Euro 2024.
Bellingham went to the European Championship after a superb first season in Real Madrid.
The midfielder was voted as The league player of the season and won a league and UEFA Champions League double.
Southgate warned fans and the media not to put too much stock in Bellingham ahead of the tournament despite his willingness to be the talisman for England.
Bellingham grabbed England's winner in their tournament opener as the Three Lions grabbed a 1-0 win against Serbia, but Southgate is cautious.
“Over the years we have had good players and we have them now. The success of the team will not depend on it Judah. Not everything can rest on their shoulders, everyone has to contribute”, as quotes from AS Diary.
England take on Denmark in their second Group B game on June 20, where a win for Bellingham and Co. in Frankfurt will seal the last 16th place, with a game to spare.
Southgate is expected to stick with an unchanged starting team with Bellingham in his role as Real Madrid No.10.
