Gary Neville admits Liverpool have something Arsenal don't have in the title race
Gary Neville has insisted Liverpool could have the advantage over Arsenal in the title race for a reason.
This season will see Liverpool and Arsenal struggle city of manchester for the Premier League title with just five points separating the top three, and the Gunners face Sheffield United on Monday night.
The trio are in supreme form and only once have all three lost a Premier League match in their last five matches each – Liverpool, when they lost 3-1 to Arsenal at the Emirates last month.
The Reds currently lead the rest at the top of the table by one point, ahead of City, while their goal differences are also remarkably similar: Liverpool are over 39, City are over 35 and Arsenal are over 39.
However, manchester united Legend Neville believes the title could be decided by one factor: Jurgen Klopp.
The German coach leaves Anfield at the end of the season after eight years at the club and already has bagged a trophy in it Carabao Cup on his farewell tour.
But there is more on the horizon and Neville believes “the Klopp factor” will be what separates them from Arsenal in the battle with City.
He said: “Liverpool have drive and energy, and the Klopp factor.
“Arsenal at the moment is the team that performs best in defense and has now begun to gain pace in attack.
“City have the most experience. All three have something. This is where we will meet all three.

“Can City do it again and get over the line? Can Arsenal do what they didn't do last year? They completely went down with ten games left. This is that moment again.”
“I always wanted to see Arsenal in the same position again, with City, to see how far they have developed.
“I think they have developed, with (William) Saliba and (Declan) Rice. They are better than last year and have more power.
“I can't wait for the next two games because we'll really find out what these teams are all about.
“City is the barometer, they have to try to take away the advantage.
“That's what you have to beat them: you can't say 'well, City might lose points on that ground' if you don't beat them yourself. You have to beat them if you're Liverpool and Arsenal.”
Both Liverpool and Arsenal have to face City, with Anfield hosting the champions on Sunday in what promises to be a raucous event.
