Gary Neville didn't hold back when assessing Manchester United's defense during their 2-0 loss to Arsenal on Wednesday.
The Gunners made the most of Liverpool's points drop and draw at Newcastle by following up their 5-2 win over West Ham on Saturday with a victory over their old enemies.
Arsenal, specialists in set pieces, were at full strength under the lights of the Emirates Stadium.
First, Jurrien Timber scored the home team's first goal with a header just after the break from a corner kick.
Their second goal also came from a corner, with Thomas Partey heading a cross into the box for William Saliba to finish with his backside.
And Neville, who played in defense for Man United throughout his career, was furious with his former team's marking.
Speaking on Overlap's live stream during the match after Saliba's goal, he said: “That's bullshit.”
Partey was completely unmarked at the far post, while Saliba easily escaped any pressure from the Red Devils present in the area.
“Your scenes are a joke,” Neville later complained to co-writer Ian Wright.
“I admire him a lot,” he added.
Arsenal have scored more goals from corners than any other Premier League team since the start of last season (22).
Meanwhile, the two players with the most assists from set pieces this time are Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka with seven each.
Last season, the Gunners equaled the record for most Premier League goals scored from a corner.
They were level with West Brom and Oldham's 16 goals from set pieces in 2016/17 and 1992/93 respectively.
Arsenal have won their last four league games against Man United.
They have made history in the process, having never before won four games in a row against them in Premier League history.
The Gunners have won their last four league games against the Red Devils 3-2, 3-1, 1-0 and now 2-0.
Arsenal are now third, seven points behind leaders Liverpool.
Chelsea are in second place with the same points as the Gunners but with a greater goal difference after their 5-1 victory over Southampton.
Meanwhile, Man United sit in 11th place as Ruben Amorim's unbeaten start as Red Devils manager came to an end.
When asked by Amazon Prime Sport what his team needs to do to move forward, he said: “We have to improve every minute and fight for games. We are here to do it.”
Arsenal drew with Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup, so Amorim will soon have the opportunity to avenge his team's defeat.
When asked what he hoped would have improved in that match, he smiled: “A set piece!
“That is important and we have to be more aggressive in the rival area.”
Speaking to talkSPORT, Amorim was asked if Arsenal's performance showed the level Man United need to reach.
“Yes, they (showed) good things. But I felt the same in the last game (in the 4-0 win over Everton),” he said. “Exactly the same.
“We have to improve a lot. They are a team that has been working together for a long time. We need time.
“But we were competitive. We just have to take this to the end of the game.”
