Tottenham have unveiled their new kit with the help of Gavin and Stacey's resident Spurs fan.
North Londoners dropped the strings for the upcoming season on Monday, enlisting the British comedy star to help launch it in a hilarious promotional video.
Mathew Horne, known as Gavin on the hit series, is a Spurs fan both on the show and in real life.
On the show, Gavin is often seen wearing the club's iconic white stripes and even receives a signed photo of Michael Dawson as a gift in the first Christmas special.
The new Spurs video shows Horne sitting at the pub bar, with several of the club's stars there too, including James Maddison and Son Heung-minall sporting the new threads.
A rooster is then heard clucking and Horne turns to him and asks: “Spurs too?”
The pair then began chatting as they both looked ahead to the season. Well, the rooster actually only crows a couple of times, but you get the idea.
The bird, which is on Tottenham's crest, even has a blue crest, rather than red, the color of Spurs' rivals Arsenal.
Horne is so inspired by the conversation that he stands up, takes off his jacket to reveal his shirt, and makes the rooster crow.
Then there is silence in the pub, and Dejan Kulusevksi looks up from his newspaper at the commotion. Horne sits back down, points to her shirt and says, “Thank you, she's new.”
The video also shows a plaque on the bar that reads “The Tel Place”, a nod to the late former Tottenham player and manager Terry Venables.
Tottenham's new kit is dominated by their traditional white colour, but features more navy blue than their previous kits.
The sleeves are completely navy blue, except for a striped cuff at the bottom.
The details are navy blue, including the Spurs badge, but the AIA sponsor remains red.
The shorts are also navy blue with white details and the same striped cuffs at the bottom.
The Spurs 2024/25 shirt sells for £85, and the exclusive edition, which is the same one the players will wear, sells for £125.
Fans on social media are loving both the new kit and the accompanying promotional video.
“Love this shirt. One of the best in many years,” one wrote. “I'll be disappointed if this shirt doesn't appear in Gavin & Stacey this Christmas.”
A second said: “Best kit reveal in years.”
“Yes, Gav!” added a third fan, who clearly loves Gavin and Stacey.
