Barcelona are not expected to do much business during the winter transfer window, which opens next week. They certainly won't be signed due to the club's well-documented financial problems, although there could perhaps be a departure or two.
One player who would be one of the favorites to move on is Pablo Torre. Since Hansi Flick has recovered Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong and Gavi from injury, the youngster has rarely featured for Barcelona. It is certainly the case also for the second half of the season, so a loan deal could be sought.
Ace for EDGetafe is one of the clubs interested in taking Torre on loan. Jose Bordalas' side need midfield reinforcements, and the 21-year-old is someone who will also improve their attacking output – which is desperately needed.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona gives the green light to Torre's departure. It would make sense, although there is still a place for him in Flick's plans at the moment.
