Girona have already had a busy summer, signing five players – who will become six when Bryan Gil's loan move from Tottenham Hotspur becomes official next week. They are not finished, as sporting director Quique Carcel continues to work to add more quality to Michel Sanchez's team.
Now, Carcel is working on an agreement for Javi Guerra. Girona have already received two offers for the 21-year-old midfielder, but they are determined to secure a deal with Valencia as soon as possible.
As reported by Relief, a third proposal was sent to Los Che. It is worth a fixed amount that is worth just under 20 million euros, which is the asking price that has been set for Guerra.
However, it still may not be accepted. Valencia want to own a percentage of Guerra's rights, especially since Villarreal receives 30% of the fee that Gerona pay off. 20 million euros fixed is the minimum amount that will be accepted, so it is imperative that they slightly increase their offer to seal a deal.
