Graeme Souness shares his fears for Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho and warns Marcus Rashford
Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has warned Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho about the pitfalls of success.
Garnacho has been elevated to one of Erik ten Hag's key players this season, and even scored in one of The best goals in Premier League history this season.
He was rewarded last year with a contract believed to be worth more than £50,000-a-week.
The 19-year-old has been a rare bright spot in an otherwise disappointing campaign.

“Garnacho, for me, is a young man with exceptional talent but I worry about him, call me old-fashioned or a dinosaur,” he said. Liverpool the legend said on air.
“He has two things to do in warming up on the field and he is a child who is just learning the game.

“I have been a player and coach of English football for a long time.
“When we were the dominant team at Liverpool, they were still bigger stars than us.
“They get a lot of attention, the Man United players, and I think it's to their detriment. Especially in the modern game with the kind of rewards these guys get.
“They get too much too soon, I think (Marcus) Rashford is an example of that at 25 years old.
“Now he should be approaching his best years, it seems that his best years are already behind him.”
Garnacho has been a key player in Erik ten Hag this season after breaking into the first team last year.
The 19-year-old has made 43 appearances for the Red Devils so far this campaign, with nine goals and four assists in all competitions.
