Barcelona made it seven wins since winning La Liga on Wednesday, as they saw Getafe less convincingly. The result is still positive for the Catalans, who have now regained their four-point advantage at the top of the table.

Hansi Flick spoke about the clash during his post-match reaction (via AS Diary). He admitted that his Barcelona team found things tough at the Olympic Stadium.

“I was told that it is normal against Getafe, they are a good team in defense. The team fought for 95 minutes. I am proud of the team, they fought the whole game. I am also proud of the fans who understood that we need them

“They are very good in defense and they are compact. It is not easy. Sometimes we do not have the necessary speed. In the end we scored a goal to get the three points.”

Flick was also asked the upcoming signing of Wojciech Szczesnywho will arrive as the replacement for the shot Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. He refused to be drawn on the signature itself, although he hinted at why it happened.

“I'm only talking about the players I have. Inaki (Pena) is our number one goalkeeper and we're very happy with him. That's all I can say.

“Inaki is 25 years old, but the other goalkeepers are very young. We need more experience and that's why we're talking about it. We talked about it and discussed it, and we have to decide.”
