Barcelona head Hansi Flick swept more questions about the Dani Olmo case

La Blaugrana face El Clasico rivals Real Madrid in the final of the Spanish Supercup in Jeddah tomorrow and that has the full focus of Flick.

Olmo and his partner Pau Victor were not eligible for the semi-final victory over Athletic Club as the legal case with The League and the RFEF broke.

However, the club has since been granted a temporary suspension on the matter with the pair now available for the remainder of the campaign.

The decision of the Superior Sports Council (CSD) will be appealed by the League with numerous clubs expressing their frustration at an exemption being made.

Flick was tight-lipped about whether Olmo would feature against Los Blancos but the German coach said the wider controversy did not bother him.

“He can play. He is happy and happy and will be back in the team. The noise is external. We have to be strong and united”, according to reports from Relief.

If Olmo plays, it will be his first match action in three weeks, after his registration was canceled at the end of 2024.
