Harry Kane scored his fourth Bundesliga goal of the season on Saturday as Bayern Munich swept aside newly-promoted Holstein Kiel in an empathic 6-1 victory for the Rekordmeister.
The Englishman’s hat-trick (7’, 43’ and 90+1’) is the player’s fifth in the Bundesliga in just 35 league games, which is a new record. 1860 Munich’s Rudolf Brunnenmeier was the previous record holder, reaching five Bundesliga hat-tricks in 61 games, six fewer than Hamburg’s Uwe Seeler.

Bayern Munich’s Gerd Müller took 113 games to reach five Bundesliga hat-tricks.
Last season Kane scored hat-tricks against Bochum, Darmstadt, Borussia Dortmund and Mainz as he hit 36 Bundesliga goals in his maiden season for Bayern Munich.
And this season is no different. The 31-year-old created two on the opening matchday against Wolfsburg before scoring against Freiburg and Holstein Kiel as Vincent Kompany’s side maintain their 100 percent start to the season, winning their four games across all competitions this season.
