Harry Kane has scored 14 goals in 19 games against Arsenal, and now England’s top scorer returns to the Emirates with his Bayern Munich side in the Champions League quarter-final.
Although the Rekordmeister are 16 points behind in the Bundesliga title race, Kane is in red-hot form. With 38 goals and 12 assists in 37 games across all competitions since his €95m move from Tottenham in the summer, Kane is one of several dangermen that can cause Arsenal problems.
Speaking to press on Monday afternoon, Arteta was asked what makes Kane a threat.
“His consistency. When you look at this numbers over the past 10 years they are unbelievable. He can score in many different ways. He has got the service and the players around him as well to provide those opportunities as well. Here’s what we have to try to avoid.”
Kane is currently enjoying his best season in football domestically, surpassing his 30 goals scored for Tottenham in the Premier League in the 2017/18 and 2022/23 seasons.
