'He has a big heart' – Jack Grealish reveals what Pep Guardiola does off camera that makes him really special in heartfelt interview
Manchester City star Jack Grealish has praised Pep Guardiola as “without a doubt the best manager of all time” and says he is a good person.
Guardiola made history guiding Manchester City to their fourth consecutive Premier League title while continuing his internal dominance.
Guardiola has won six Premier Leagues, two FA Cups, four EFL Cups and one Champions League during his time in English football.
Having enjoyed great success with Barcelona and Bayern Munich in his previous roles, Guardiola has 16 major titles to his name since 2016, making him the most successful manager in world football.
For Grealish, who has won three top-flight titles under the Spaniard, it is the personal touch off the field that makes Guardiola truly special.
Discussing Guardiola's lively antics in the recent Man City documentary Treble Winners, Grealish told talkSPORT in an exclusive interview: “It's quite intense, as you've probably seen.

“I think that was in some of the clips, but sometimes I find that he gets angrier if we've played well, whereas if we haven't played well then he wants to give us some love.
“He is an incredible coach. There have been times this year where I've had issues off the field with my own stuff, I'll say that openly, and he's been there for me in his office.
“I've gone out to eat with him a few times and it's been incredible.
“He is a great coach and in my opinion he is easily the best of all time, but more than anything, he is a very good person.
“He has a big heart and I thank him for that this season.”
When asked by Brazil if Pep had ever asked him to get him Gucci clothes, Grealish replied: “I don't know if I could pull it off, to be honest. Just you and me, Al!
Grealish was a star of City's iconic treble-winning campaign in 2022/23, but suffered numerous setbacks during the 2023/24 season.
But the midfielder says that despite winning three Premier League titles in a row and a host of other trophies, he takes nothing for granted.
He said: “As soon as I left (Aston) Villa, which was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, I knew I wanted to win things.
“I have come here and fortunately I have won many things, including the Club World Cup and trophies like this, but the Premier League was the main one I wanted to win.
“Coming from England and growing up here, it was the only trophy I was desperate to win and to win three in a row is just incredible.
“I'll be honest, when I first signed here I didn't think I was going to win three in a row, but it's been incredible and I don't take anything for granted.
“Hopefully there will be more to come.”
Hopes to participate in Manchester City's FA Cup final against Manchester United this weekend.
The England superstar will then join the nation's training camp for Euro 2024 after be named in Gareth Southgate's preliminary 33-man squad.
