Aston Villa is pleased to announce George Hemmings has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The teenage midfielder joined Villa’s Academy in January and has shone for the Under-18s since his arrival.
“We are delighted to see George sign his first professional contract,” said Academy Manager Mark Harrison.
“Having joined us from Nottingham Forest, we are very pleased with how he has developed and settled into his new environment.
“He shows a lot of technical qualities with a very focused attitude that will hopefully one day see him develop into a first-team player.
“He needs to continue to work hard and we look forward to seeing how he develops over the next few years.”
