bowen It has been equally decisive for the Hammers, who are aiming for success in the Europa League and a top-six finish in the Premier League.

While Saka is a favorite for the Three Lions at this summer's Euro 2024, Bowen is also in line to be included in Gareth Southgate's squad.

Bowen is in a long-term relationship with Dyer's eldest daughter Dani, with whom he has two children and Bowen's 'father-in-law' believes the West Ham star has done more than enough to book his seat on the plane to Germany.

“What a player he is, what a man he is, he's been incredible for us,” Dyer said in a glowing tribute to Bowen on talkSPORT. “He's the father of my grandchildren, which is a beautiful thing.”

“He has to be on the plane. I may be biased, but I think he's just as good as Saka at that position. I think he has all the attributes of him, he is as strong as him or stronger.

“I think he is great on the ball, he can finish and he can also play anywhere up front and I don't think Saka can do that.

“Personally, I think it's a myth that Saka is better. I think Jarrod's decision making on the field is incredible, he very rarely makes a mistake, that man.

“He is a very reliable player and in one-on-one there is no one better.”
