Roy Keane has jumped to Pep Guardiola's defense after the Manchester City manager was recently filmed giving a lecture to autograph hunters.
The Spanish coach He faced a group of fans Saturday after they gathered near his home in Manchester asking for t-shirts and memorabilia to be signed.
Images emerged on Monday showing Guardiola uttering some strong words to the autograph seekers, while urging them to make better decisions in life.
The 53-year-old was greeted by several fans after Manchester City. 8-0 FA Cup victory over Salford City at the weekend, and was unimpressed by his persistent attempts to cash in on his signature.
Guardiola told the group: “Don't come back, I won't tell you again, I know your faces.
“Go to school and get ready, boys. You are young, so don't be here wasting your time.

Then he asked them, “Do you want to live your life doing this, honestly?”
“Keep doing it. Prepare better. Damn, man, this isn't for all people, this is for you.”
And Guardiola has now gained an unlikely ally following the incident: manchester united legend Roy Keane.
Appearing on The Overlap's Stay with football In the podcast, the no-nonsense expert criticized the autograph hunters and lamented the fans' lack of respect for the participants in the game.
Reacting to footage of Guardiola's outburst, Keane praised him, saying: “Absolutely brilliant, well done Pep, good for you Pep!”
He then said of the autograph seekers: “They are a nuisance, an absolute nuisance!”
“You see them everywhere and you're absolutely right. (They're) the same faces at every field we go to, different jerseys.”
“Years ago, if you wanted a signed jersey or a photograph, there was an element of respect. That respect doesn't exist anymore.
“Now there are people waiting in the parking lots.”
Keane also criticized the lack of privacy that the group gave Guardiola, as the meeting took place in a parking lot near the Spaniard's home.
He continued, “Also, is that your house?
“It's horrible that they know where people live now. They are idiots, congratulations Pep.”
The incident with the autograph hunters is not the first time the Citizens coach has found himself in the spotlight this season.
His team has endured a difficult campaign so far and is currently sixth in the Premier League standings, 12 points behind the leaders. Liverpool.
