'He's gone': Mauricio Pochettino gives awkward interview as fans believe Chelsea's time is up
Mauricio Pochettino gave some strange answers in his post-match interview after Chelsea recorded a win over Tottenham.
Despite Chelsea winning 2-0 Against Spurs at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night, Pochettino gave the air of a man who had doubts about his future.
The Argentine, who has one year left on his contract, admitted his destiny is not in his hands in an interview with Sky Sports before leaving.
After the game he said: “Enough is enough. All coaches need time to translate their ideas and philosophy.
“It's not my decision (if I have time). I don't know (if I'm being judged by the owners).
“It's hard to see every week that I'm under scrutiny and judgment.
“It's not my decision whether to be here or not (next season).
“I can't say anything. What I can say is that after the decision, if we want to match Chelsea's history, there is a lot of work to do. We will see if we have time to build in this way.”
Fans quickly took notice of Pochettino and his lack of confidence in his work, with one responding on social media: “Pochettino is really gone, why do I feel sad for him?”
This fan posted: “Pochettino surely gone, this post-match interview is horrible.”

Another wrote: “This Pochettino interview is CRAZY! He's a man resigned to being fired.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United legend Gary Neville insisted it would be ridiculous for Chelsea to sack Pochettino now.
“There was talk that Pochettino was under pressure about a month ago,” he said. “But I think it would be crazy to change the coach whose quality of work with this type of players is recognized.
“Making sure we have stability during another transfer window seems more important than the idea of someone else coming in and doing a better job. That doesn't feel right here.
“He is a proven coach. One of the great coaches in the Premier League in the last five, six, seven years.
“Pochettino has had some up and down moments this season. But this one is good.”
