According to Florian Plettenberg, Hoffenheim are pushing to sign SK Sturm Graz midfielder Alexander Prass.
Over the past few days, it has been well documented that Hoffenheim are currently embroiled in a mini-club crisis.
This has culminated in head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo being linked with the vacant role as head coach of the US men’s national team.
Nevertheless, Die Kraichgauer are still focused on the season ahead, where they will be playing European football, with the club looking into the possibility of luring Alexander Prass to the Bundesliga.
It is understood that Hoffenheim are currently in advanced talks with Sturm Graz to sign Prass, with the Austrians valuing the versatile midfielder between €10 and €12 million.
However, there is competition for his signature, with Southampton, Bologna, and Atalanta all stating their interest in Prass.
Regardless, as it stands, the 23-year-old appears to be heading to the Rhein-Neckar-Arena, where he would join a fellow Austrian, Florian Grillitsch.
